The world’s largest property competition; the 2007 International Property Awards in conjunction with CNBC announced the winner’s of their annual awards at a glittering gala dinner in London’s Grosvenor Square. Approximately 400 property professionals representing 56 different countries around the globe gathered in eager anticipation of winning one or more of the 100 highly prestigious awards across 20 categories.
Dhevatara enjoyed a very successful evening winning 3 awards. Dhevatara Residence was awarded a 4-Star Award for Best Thailand Development, Dhevatara Cove was awarded a 5-Star Award for Best Thailand Development and Baan Chang (Dhevatara Cove) was awarded a 5-Star Award for Best Thailand Property.

Stephen Owen, the Owner’s Representative for Dhevatara stated at the event that, “I think it is great recognition for 2½ years of hard work by everyone in the Dhevatara team. It will give us International recognition and has encouraged us to launch new products outside of our original comfort zone of Thailand. We have taken the bold step of going into an established tourism market namely the Seychelles and going head to head with the big brand names. We are trying to establish Dhevatara as a recognised name and a brand signifying an Exclusive lifestyle.”
Baan Chang has also been
nominated for the Best
International Property
category, only one of 5
properties worldwide to be
nominated.

Stuart Shield, founder of
the International Property
Awards, concluded, “I’m
delighted that the awards
have grown to such a stature
that they have attracted the
attention and support of
some of the world’s major
newspapers – the Daily Mail,
New York Times and Sydney
Morning Herald – which helps
to give the winners even
more coverage. I’m also
pleased that so many
well-respected professional
bodies have joined with
their backing. We are now
going on to crown the year
with our event in Las Vegas
on November 16th where the
highest point scoring
winners will be identified
as the best in the world.”
