There are two styles of property available at the residence: spacious, open-plan beachside villas and multi-level, hillside houses. The properties display slightly different designs, but all provide guests with the absolute maximum in comfort and space, at the same time offering stunning sea views, either high up from the hillside terrace or direct from the beach.
The 5 large, single and two-storey beachfront homes include 4 to 5 living pavilions that maximize the use of space and create a sense of total freedom and privacy. Walking from the impressive entrance down the central pathway, tropical foliage surrounds the buildings, which does much to heighten the natural ambience. The pavilions house the sleeping quarters with the secondary bedrooms towards the rear of the property and a stylish, contemporary master bedroom overlooking the pool and beach. A modern kitchen/dining pavilion connects via a stepped pond to the contemporary living room, which is also directly next to the villa’s large pool and beachside Sala.
On the terrace behind the beach villas, 3 striking hillside houses offer superior views from several different levels. The ground floor comprises a private parking area and a double ensuite guest bedroom complete with a small ensuite garden courtyard. The next level is the villa’s main living area, and features a large deck surrounding a generous swimming pool. Here you find a well-designed combination kitchen, dining and living space on one side of the pool and two more ensuite bedrooms opposite. Ascending further to the second and upper level, you reach the spacious master bedroom with a small sitting area and a sizeable en-suite bathtub. This opulent, private room also affords fabulous views across the bay.
In terms of quality construction, the villas at Dhevatara Residence are difficult to match. Wood Bagot Thailand Ltd was hired to design and manage the project and this guarantees the best in professional construction. The main structures are built with reinforced concrete foundations and all the framing was constructed to both Thai and International standards. The roof system uses steel trusses and rafters with Canadian cedar shingles, all fully insulated, while the internal ceilings involve 9mm thick gypsum board, which is moisture resistant in the bathrooms and toilets and fixed to a suspended galvanized steel frame. The doors and windows are made from quality powder coated aluminium and finished with safety glass. Each villa has a separate, sub-metered electrical supply and a panel board to control all electrical power. Earth leakage circuit breakers are provided both for general power circuits and those supplying wet appliances. A central stand-by generator system is also installed to support all fire and life safety systems, as well as cold water pumping systems, villa lighting, power circuits, air conditioning and common area security lighting.
The properties at Dhevatara Residence are for sale. But they are also part of Samui Villas and Homes’ exclusive “Signature Collection”, which means they can be rented on either a long or short-term basis. When occupied, each villa comes with a dedicated Thai Chef and table service during meals.
